Eagle's Nest enjoys a quiet, uncrowded and peaceful setting in the valley. Our on-site accommodations combine the charming appeal of rustic log-sided cabins with many modern amenities such as jet tub/showers, Satellite TV/VCR, microwave and Wi-Fi .

Tastefully decorated, our cabins are newly renovated to bring our guests "the finest" in Vallecito Lake accommodations.

The Eagle's Nest property is a combination of park-like grounds blended with areas of beautiful natural terrain. Guests will enjoy relaxing around our ponds against the backdrop of the spectacular mountain peaks where you may observe the native wildlife, feed our fish (sorry...no fishin') and absorb our peaceful surroundings.
Our vacation homes are located a short distance from Eagle's Nest. Each home has

At Vallecito Lake you may enjoy fishing, boating, horseback riding, biking and hiking.
Fall is highlighted by the spectacular fall color change followed by the hunting seasons for elk and deer.
Spring marks the awakening of the valley and fishing for lunker trout.
Our close proximity to Durango (26 miles) makes Eagle's Nest the ideal
location from which to explore 4 Corners Country.

Popular regional activities and attractions include the Durango-Silverton Narrow Gauge Train, Mesa Verde National Park, Bar-D Chuckwagon supper and show, 1890's melodrama, jeep trips and rafting down the Animas River.
There are excellent golf courses, numerous museums and of course...the scenic million dollar highway.
